506 Pound Bear Illegally Killed On September 10, 2018, a 506 pound bear was shot about 35 minutes after hunting hours.  Read more.
OGEMA:  Road Construction A new road construction has been added to the agenda and began on August 27th.  The 2.95 million dollar project will be completed in October of 2018.  Crews will repair culverts and resurface Hwy. 86 from Hwy. 13 to the Lincoln County line.  Motorists can expect to encounter temporary lane closures and daytime flagging operations.
